There was this Great Pumpkin. The pumpkin was carved. The carvings however changed with the majority of the emotion around it.
It only appeared a week before to after Halloween. For those few weeks all emotions were manifested into the item that people want majorly.
This mystical power from the great pumpkin is in different forms throughout the year. All holiday mythical figures have the same power that they bring the manifest the majority of the thoughts that the families have.
Besides the emotional control this pumpkin had, it also could trick people into seeing stuff that was not there. I remember one time it made me see a ladder made of York Peppermint Patties. This ladder tasted like them as well.
The ladder, of course couldn't hold any weight, so when I tried to go up on it, I got into a big chocolate blob. The blob dried up extremely quickly, so no one else saw it.
